Course information

This course is created for students who wish to grasp the appropriate digital tools and competencies to implement managerial and HR practices towards strategic business organizations.

You will also be able to analyze a company’s culture and induce new corporate values in adequacy with the digital and sustainable era.

  • Duration: 2 weeks
  • Live online sessions (on Fridays): each week live sessions will be organized with the professor
  • Autonomous work (with and without interaction with the professor): around 15 hours each week

  • Management 4.0 & International HR: Who is this course for?

    ESSCA Online Campus Summer/Winter School is aimed at any students who would like to learn about Manager 4.0 and explore the different responsabilities and challenges that come with this role.

    Prerequisite

    • First-year university (or similar) studies completed in any discipline.
    • English proficiency: Conversational (level B2 Common European Framework: CEFR).

    Project

    You will be working on a team project during this course: Put yourself in the shoes of an HR. During this project, you will have to:

    • Analyze a French multinational company and go through the different HR functions.
    • Set a recruitment strategy for a position, then choose appropriate selection tools to identify the best candidate for this position.
    • Determine the compensation and benefits package. In the end, you will design two different training sessions to help the selected candidate integrate into the company.

    At the end of this course, you will be able to:

    • Apply digital tools and technology in HRM functions and HRM-related missions.
    • Make better HR decisions in the different functions such as recruitment, selection, rewards, performance management, and development initiatives.
    • Assess ethical and social implications in various business situations.
    • Lead organizational change in multinational companies as a manager 4.0 in the digital era.

    Transfer Credit

    If you wish to transfer ESSCA Online Campus academic credit, obtain written approval from the dean or adviser at your home institution prior to your registration at ESSCA Online Campus. Such approval is for your protection only; it is not required by Summer/Winter School at ESSCA Online Campus, which cannot approve credits for transfer. We will provide transcript to have grades sent to your home institution.

I think the course was really in depth. I know more about luxury marketing which is very different from global marketing.
