She is currently a Research Fellow and Professor of Finance at ESSCA School of Management, France. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics – Financial Markets from Panthéon-Assas University in 2011, a Master’s degree in International Economics from Nanterre University in 2005, and a second Master’s degree in Finance and Econometrics from Panthéon-Assas University in 2006.

Etienne served as Assistant Professor of Finance at Notre Dame University Louaize, Lebanon, at ESSCA School of Management, and as a Research and Teaching Fellow at Panthéon-Assas University. She teaches Strategic Financial Management, Corporate Finance and Investment Decisions, International Finance, Accounting for Managerial decision-making, Portfolio Management, and Financial Markets and Institutions classes. She published several books and peer-reviewed articles in top-ranked academic journals. Her research activity focuses on Financial Risk Management, High-Frequency Trading, and Financial Markets’ Microstructure and Regulation.
